The largest display of bonsai trees is 3,333 and was achieved by Prajakta Giridhari Kale at Maval, in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on 15 November 2018.
Mrs. Prajakta Kale has dedicated the last 35 years to the art of bonsai. She individually owns over 3,500 bonsai trees and spends 8 to 10 hours daily in nurturing and grooming them. Prajakta also runs an organization called 'Bonsai Namste' which aims at creating work opportunities for tribal and rural women by training them in the art of bonsai creation. Her organization's moto is 'Small trees, Big Dreams'.
