Prices for cars in Bugatti’s six-part “Legends” series – all based on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse – range from 2.09 m euros (£1.76 m; $2.75 m) for the “Meo Costantini” to 2.35 m euros (£1.91 m; $3.2 m) for the newest model, due to be unveiled in Aug 2014. All prices are exclusive of tax and transportation, and do not account for personalization and added extras such as rare and precious materials (e.g., gold, platinum and porcelain), hand-painted leather or special paint jobs. The Legends series is limited to just three cars per edition.
The range is limited to just three cars per edition, and the first to be announced was the “Jean-Pierre Wimille” in July 2013, which debuted a month later at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance ("Competition of Elegance") in Pebble Beach, California, USA. Subsequent models as of 13 May 2014 are the "Black Bess", the "Rembrandt Bugatti", the "Meo Costantini" and the "Jean Bugatti".<
