The oldest ice hockey medallist at a Winter Olympic Games is Teemu Selänne (b. 3 July 1970, Finland), who won the bronze medla aged 43 years 234 days in Sochi, Russia, on 22 February 2014.
Teemu Selänne scored two goals in the bronze medal match against the USA, with Finland winning 5–0. It was his last Olympic appearance, having played in the previous five Winter Olympics. He made his first appearance for Finland 26 years previously, before his teammate Mikael Granlund was even born.
