The largest continuous parade of mikoshi consists of 100 mikoshi, achieved by Shiawasemasu Festa Executive Committee (Japan) in Hofu, Yamaguchi, Japan, on 29 April 2018.
The 100 mikoshi were all carried by women. During the annual spring Shiawasemasu Festa, mikoshi are carried all the way to Hofu Tenmangu Shrine. Shiawasemasu, in the local dialect, is a phrase used to show gratitude.
