Lucia Taylor’s 169 for Argentina against Chile at the Maurice Runnacles Oval (St Albans Club) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 13 October 2023 is the highest individual score achieved in the 1,689 women’s T20 Internationals (T20I) that have been played (as of 25 October 2023).

Taylor’s 84-ball innings featured 27 fours and formed part of an any-wicket T20I male/female partnership record of 350 (in 16.4 overs) with fellow opener Albertina Galan, who finished on 145 not out.

Deepika Rasangika’s 66-ball 161 not out for Bahrain against Saudi Arabia in Oman had been the individual women’s score to beat since 22 March 2022.

Aaron Finch’s 172 for Australia against Zimbabwe in Harare on 3 July 2018 is the only higher score made in the 2,329 men’s T20Is that had been completed by the same date.
