Linfield secured their 56th domestic league title in Northern Ireland on the final day of the 2021/22 season, beating Coleraine 2–0 to pip Cliftonville to the title by a point. It was Linfield’s fourth consecutive NIFL Premiership crown, and moved them one clear of 55-time Scottish champions Rangers for the overall record for most domestic titles.
