Most players to score a televised nine-dart finish in a single day

The most players to record televised nine-dart finishes in a single day is two. The feat was achieved by Terry Jenkins (UK) and Kyle Anderson (Australia) in different matches during the 2014 PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in London, UK, on 14 December 2013. The only other time two nine-dart finishes have taken place in a single day was on 24 May 2010, when Phil Taylor threw two in his match against James Wade during the PDC Premier League. There have been several occasions of two different players achieving nine-dart finishes on consecutive days - Phil Taylor and Tony O'Shea on 8–9 May 2007 in the International Darts League, and Michael Van Gerwen and Wes Newton on 25–26 July 2012 in the World Matchplay.
