The oldest ski jump medallist at a Winter Olympic Games is Noriaki Kasai (Japan, b. 6 June 1972), who won a bronze medal in the men's team event aged 41 years 256 days in Sochi, Russia, on 17 February 2014.
Kasai had won a silver medal in the large hill individual event just a few days earlier before adding this bronze medal to his collection. The previous record was set way back in 1948 in St. Mortiz by Birger Ruud (Norway), who was 36 when he won silver in the men's normal hill event.
