The most Olympic gold medals won in the ski jumping team event is three, by Germany in 1994, 2002 and 2014.
The team event was introduced in the 1988 Olympics with four members making up each team. To date it is only a men's event. In 2002 and 2006, Austria won the event back-to-back but was denied by just 2.7 points in Sochi by the German team made up of Andreas Wank, Marinus Kraus, Andreas Wellinger and Severin Freund.
