Most BAFTA Children’s Awards won by a TV series

The BBC’s educational sketch series Horrible Histories (UK) has become the first programme to win four consecutive BAFTAs at the Children's Awards, having topped the Comedy category yet again in 2013. Commissioned by CBBC (UK) and produced by Richard Bradley of LionTV (UK), Horrible Histories is the TV adaptation of the award-winning book series – famed for its gross and gory retelling of historical events – by Terry Deary (UK). Horrible Histories is also the first children’s series to win a British Comedy Award.
