The most Premier League goals by a substitute in a single season is seven by Adam Le Fondre (UK) playing for Reading during the 2012/13 season. Le Fondre scored his first goal as a substitute against Arsenal on 17 December 2012. He then scored five goals during January, having come off the bench – firstly against West Bromwich Albion, then he scored two versus Newcastle and followed it up with a brace against Chelsea. His seventh and final substitute goal came against Fulham on 4 May 2013.
