The fastest average time to solve a 3x3x3 rotating puzzle cube while blindfolded is 14.05 seconds, achieved by Tommy Cherry (USA) at the Rubik’s WCA European Championship 2024 event in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, on 28 July 2024. Charlie Eggins (Australia) equalled this record at the Cubing at The Cube 2026 event in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 10 January 2026.

Cherry recorded solve times of 13.48, 14.42 and 14.24 seconds.

Eggins recorded solve times of 14.34, 13.95, 13.85 and (11.67) seconds. His quickest time of 11.67 seconds (which was deducted from the average) also represents the fastest single solve in this category to date.
