He went on to win at least one Grand Prix in the eight successive seasons up to and including his victory in a Mercedes at the Grand Prix in Sepang, Malaysia, on 30 March 2014.
Lewis Hamilton began his Formula One career in 2007 and won four races to finish second in the Drivers' World Championship. In 2008 he won the Championship with five Grand Prix wins, and since then he has won two, three, three, four, one and three (as of 20 April 2014) races in each of the subsequent seasons. The only other person who can lay claim to this record is Argentinian driver Juan Manuel Fangio, who won races in every season he competed in Formula One from 1950 to 1957. However, he was not present in the 1952 season.
