The 1750 MWe Arabelle is a steam turbine generator built by Alstom (France) and designed to convert steam into electricity in nuclear power stations. Scheduled to work in the Flamanville 3 nuclear power station in Flamanville, France, from around 2016, the turbine generator will generate a maximum of 1,750 megawatts of electricity.
The generator was first ordered by EDF in 2006.
