The Cinderella Castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Florida, USA, is 57.3 m (189 ft) high. Partly based on real-life castles such as those at Neuschwanstein, Segovia and Moszna, the steel, concrete and fibre-glass structure is distorted in shape to make it seem even taller than it really is. It opened in 1971.
