Longest ornithopod dinosaur

Known from a single fairly complete skeleton and a skull, the longest ornithopod dinosaur was Huaxiaosaurus aigahtens, which measured up to 18.7 m long. One of many hadrosaurs or so-called duck-billed dinosaurs, it lived during the Late Cretaceous Period 70 million years ago, and its remains were unearthed in the Chinese province of Shandung.
