In June 2013, Christopher Reynolds (USA) logged into his PayPal account and discovered he was in credit to the tune of $92,233,720,368,547,800. With more than $92 quadrillion (£60 quadrillion) to his name, he would be 1.2 million times richer than Carlos Slim Helu, the world's richest man, according to Forbes. However, the error was rectified moments later and Reynolds was back down to a balance of $0.
When asked what he would have spent the money on, Reynolds is reported to have said "I probably would have paid down the national debt". Alternatively, he could have purchased the most expensive house, Antilia, 76 million times, visited the International Space Station as a tourist 2.6 billion times or purchased Manchester United Football Club, the most valuable club, 41 million times over.
