The most consecutive appearances in the final of the women's World Team Squash Championships is 10 and was achieved by Australia from 1987 to 2004; it was equalled by England from 1994 to 2012. The women's World Team Squash Championships began in 1979 and was held biennially until 1989 and since 1990 has been held biennially in even years. Australia have dominated the tournament winning nine times, England have six titles. Australia's run was ended in 2006 when they crashed out of the group stages. During their record-equalling run the England women have only won the final twice in 2000 and 2006 finishing runners up eight times.
