The most countries represented at a WKF Karate 1 Premier League event is 46 at the 2013 German Open in Hanau, Germany, on 21–22 September 2013. The 46 nations came from all five continents that practise karate with over 600 participants in total. The Karate 1 Premier League comprises of up to 10 events throughout the year. In 2013 the other events were held in Paris, Dordrecht (Netherlands), Lasko (Slovenia), Tyumen, Jakarta, Istanbul and Salzburg.
