Most wins of All-Ireland Hurling championships by an individual

The most wins of the All-Ireland Hurling Championships is 9, achieved by Henry Shefflin (Ireland) playing for Kilkenny in 2000, 2002–03, 2006–09, 2011-2012 and 2014.

Two other players have technically won 9 titles – Noel Hickey (Kilkenny) as in the same squad as Shefflin but was only on the field of play for 8 of the finals. Another Kilkenny man, Noel Skehan, was on the field of play for 6 victories between 1972 and 1983 but prior to that was a sub in the Kilkenny wins of 1963, 1967 and 1969.

Shefflin, born in Waterford, is a centre-forward nicknamed "King Henry" and works as a bank official when not winning trophies.
