Largest Fancy Orange diamond

Diamonds come in a range of colours that have inspired generations of jewellery designers. One of the most unusual of all diamond colours is the Fancy Orange, a diamond colour rarer than any other. A true Fancy Orange has a deep orange colour with no hint of brown. The largest known such diamond is a pear-shaped diamond of 14.82 carat weight. After being owned by the same anonymous custodian for at least 30 years, it was sold at auction in Geneva, Switzerland in November 2013, making it also the most expensive fancy orange diamond sold at auction.
