Seven cover versions of "I Love It", by Swedish duo Icona Pop (Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo) and UK singer-songwriter Charli XCX (Charlotte Aitchison), made the Top 200 of the Official UK Singles Chart before the original debuted at Number 1 on 6 July 2013. Warner Bros. delayed the UK release of the 12-month-old dance track, allowing Stephanie Treo (peak position Number 122), Iconic Pop Band (Number 119), Loreen Harris (Number 74), Venus Palermo (Number 71), Glee Cast (Number 90), Remix Junkies (Number 49) and Remix Chix (Number 61) to cash in on its popularity. An eighth cover version, by New Music Masters, charted the same week as Icona Pop and spent 10 weeks inside the Top 200, peaking at Number 51.
