The highest altitude skateboarding is 5,700 m (18,700.79 ft) and was achieved by Sam Newstead and Julian O’Shea (Australia) at the Sairecabur Volcano in the Atacama Desert, Chile, on 29 June 2019.
For this attempt Sam and Julian used an Atom skateboard with large wheels to allow for off road skating.
