Coca-Cola have released a ground-breaking canned drink that is both carbonated and hot. Canada Dry Hot Ginger Ale went on sale in vending machines and convenience stores across Japan on 21 October 2013. The spicy cinnamon-and-apple-flavoured drink costs 120 Yen (77p; $1.23). Coca-Cola undertook four years of extensive research in order to produce the canned hot and carbonated drink. Its self-heating canned tea, coffee and soups are already popular in Japan.
