The longest videogame marathon playing Metal Gear (Konami/Kojima, 1987–present) was achieved by Ben Reeves (USA), who played various games from the series for 48 hours in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, on 6–8 August 2011. This is also the record for the longest videogame marathon on a stealth game. The attempt started at 9:02 am on 6 August and ended 9.02 am on 8 August.
