The heaviest bell pepper – a cultivar of Capsicum annuum – weighed 750 g (1 lb 10.4 oz) and was grown by Peter Glazebrook (UK) as ratified at the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championships, staged at the Malvern Autumn Show in the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire, UK, on 23 September 2023.


At the same event, veteran competitive vegetable grower and multiple record holder Glazebrook also claimed the title for the largest runner bean leaf, with dimensions of 63.8 x 67.7 cm (2 ft x 2 ft 2.7 in).
