With 12 nominations across both its original release and its downloadable content Left Behind, The Last of Us (Naughty Dog, 2013) is the most-nominated videogame in BAFTA history as of 12 March 2015. The Last of Us (Naughty Dog, 2013) won five awards during the 10th British Academy Video Games Awards – the most any action-adventure videogame has received in a single year. Its downloadable content (dlc) won a further two awards at the 11th British Academy Video Games Awards including an unprecedented second win in the best performance category for Ashley Johnson.

The game also holds the record with the most BAFTA wins overall with 7, just ahead of Half-Life 2 (6 in 2003/2004 ceremony) and Wii Sports (6 in 2006/2007). The British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) created the awards in 2003.
