Fiona qualified to run the London Marathon 2022 as part of the Abbott World Marathon Marathon Majors World Championships by running a virtual marathon in 2020.

"I ran this marathon at home in lockdown and the time of 2 hours and 57 minutes meant that I was eligible to run as a masters runner in the London Marathon to try to gain a good position in my age group for the world championships."

"However, I got covid in July so I was unable to train properly and then "race" the London marathon in my usual way so I decided to ask for sponsorship to raise the profile and awareness of a little charity I set up called CASS & Friends."
