Greatest prize money in a dance game tournament

The 2007 World Pump Festival, a tournament centred on the Pump It Up (Andamiro, 1999) series, offered a total prize pot of $148,000 across three categories: Speed (Female), Speed (Male) and Freestyle. Cash prizes were rewarded in each category to those placed in the top eight. The competition was held in Mexico in 2007. As of June 2013, the most recent PIU World Festival was in Guangzhou, China in 2011.
