Fastest car in a videogame

Red Bull X2011 Prototype in Gran Turismo 6 (Polyphony Digital, 2013) is an impressive vehicle. A YouTube video shows the in-game car shooting along at 622 kph (386 mph). It exists as a prototype rather than as a real-world car. With a 1,635-horsepower engine, the Redbull X2011 was first seen in Gran Turismo 5. It was the result of a collaboration between Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi and Red Bull Racing’s chief technical officer Adrian Newey. The result was an original X2010 prototype, and then an improved 2011 model, available as additional downloadable content.
