The best-selling first-generation console is a tie between the Color TV-Game 6 and the Color TV-Game 15 (both Nintendo, 1977), which each sold one million units.
The Color TV-Game 6 was the first home console designed in-house by Nintendo. It only featured one game, Light Tennis, which had six different modes of play.
Just one week after its launch, the company released the Color TV-Game 15, which allowed players access to 15 different modes on Light Tennis.
