According to Speed Demos Archive, by 21 January 2009 the Halo 2 Done Segmented team had managed to assemble an astonishing segmented speed-run of 1 hr 30 min 29 sec on Halo 2 (Bungie, 2004). This attempt was the work of the gamers Chris Chris “scurty” Wasnetsky, Goatrope, djDAP, NOKYARD, Louis Wu and Cody Miller, who holds the single-player speed-run record for this game. The team used a number of techniques to speed up their game, including Sword Flying, a trick that is only possible in the PC 1.0 version of the game.
