The first Final Fantasy game to use voice actors and spoken dialogue is Final Fantasy X, released for PlayStation 2 on 19 July 2001. Some of the voice actors used for the English language version may be familiar. Wakka and Kimahri are both played by John Di Maggio, more familiar as Jake from Adventure Time and Futurama's Bender, while Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongbob Squarepants, played Rin, Wantz and Bobba. Lead character Tidus was played by James Arnold Taylor, better known for voicing Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars and Cartoon Network's Johnny Test.
