The Särkänniemi Adventure Park in Tampere, Finland, is home to the official Angry Birds theme park, which opened on 28 April 2012. Here, thrill seekers can flock to the Lighthouse and Angry Birds Ride rides, shop for Angry Birds goodies, and chow down at Mighty Eagle Snacks and Red Bird Sweets. An unofficial "Angry Birds" attraction appeared at the Changsha Windows of the World theme park in Changsha in September 2011, but opened without permission from Angry Birds developer Rovio. The Särkänniemi Adventure Park was officially licensed and therefore became the first theme park of its kind.
