Mount Annapurna 1 is the tallest mountain in the Annapurna range within the Himalayas, Nepal. At a height of 8,091 m (26,545 ft) it is the 10th tallest mountain in the world. It was first summitted on 3 June 1950 by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal (both France).
