Most wins of the top division in Turkish football (soccer)

Galatasaray have won the top division of Turkish football on a record 19 occasions, most recently in 2012-13 when they moved clear of their Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe (18 domestic league titles). Galatasaray won the Milli Lig (1959 to 2000-01) 14 times and have triumphed in the Süper Lig (2001-02 to present) on five occasions to date. Galatasaray (19 titles) won the Milli Lig in 1961-62, 1962-63, 1968-69, 1970-71, 1971-72, 1972-73, 1986-87, 1987-88, 1992-93, 1993-94, 1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99 and 1999-2000 and the Süper Lig in 2001-02, 2005-06, 2007-08, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

Galatasaray won their 19th top division title with a 4-2 win at home to Sivasspor on 5 May 2013.

Fenerbahçe (18 titles) won the Milli Lig in 1958-59, 1960-61, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1967-68, 1969-70, 1973-74, 1974-75, 1977-78, 1982-83, 1984-85, 1988-89, 1995-96 and 2000-01 and the Süper Lig in 2003-04, 2004-05, 2006-07 and 2010-11.
