Andrea Berg's (Germany, b. Andrea Zellen) Best of collection had amassed unprecedented runs of 533 weeks and 348 weeks in the Austrian and German albums charts, respectively, as of 17 March 2013. The 15-track album, released in both countries in October 2001, has sold more than 2.1 million copies in Berg's homeland and is the biggest-selling German-language album by a solo female artist in Germany. Berg's Best of album peaked at No.5 in Austria (as recently as 25 January 2013) and No.18 in Germany. It has been certified 7x platinum in Germany and only eight albums have shipped more copies there, with Herbert Grönemeyer's (Germany) Mensch leading the way with shipments of 3.15 million units. Released on BMG Ariola in Austria and Jupiter Records in Germany, the album includes two new tracks and a bonus "party mix" in addition to 12 fan favourites. Berg has had six No.1 albums in both Austria and Germany since making her chart debut on 21 October 2001 (with Best of) in Austria and 4 August 1997 (with Träume Lügen Nicht) in Germany.

Berg had spent a total of 927 weeks on the Austrian albums chart (with 13 different albums) as of 8 March 2013 and 785 weeks on the German albums chart (with 18 different albums) as of 17 March 2013.

Berg's Best of album also spent four weeks in the Swiss chart, peaking at No.56.
