Largest mobile industrial machine

According to Off-Highway Research, the largest mobile industrial machine ever built is the 94.5-m-tall (310-ft), 220-m-long (722-ft), 14,196-tonne (31.3 million lb) Bagger 293 (previously known as RB293), a giant bucket-wheel excavator made by the German industrial company TAKRAF. Requiring five people to operate, it can move 240,000 cubic metres (8.475 million cubic feet) of earth per day. It is currently used in Australia for removing over-burden from a brown coal mine in Victoria.
