The most hat-tricks in a Premier League career is 12, and was achieved by Sergio Agüero (Argentina), playing for Manchester City F.C. from 10 September 2011 to 12 January 2020.
Agüero had to wait just under a year to break Alan Shearer's record of 11 hat-tricks despite two in two games to equal the record in February 2019. His 12th came in a 6-1 thrashing of Aston Villa at Villa Park, which also saw Riyad Mahrez bag a brace.
