The most tournament wins on the PGA Tour by a left-handed golfer is 45, by Phil Mickelson (USA) from 13 January 1991 to 23 May 2021.
Mickelson triumphed at the 2021 PGA Championship to become the oldest major winner in golf history, aged 50 years 341 days. He won his first tournament, the Northern Telecom Open, as a 20-year-old amateur (to date, the last amateur to win on the PGA Tour). Nicknamed “Lefty”, Mickelson is in fact right-handed in everything save golf. He learned to swing left-handed by mirroring his father’s right-handed swing. As of 2021, the next-highest number of PGA Tour wins by a left-handed golfer was 12, by Bubba Watson.
