Most flying trapeze triple somersaults in a career

Terry Cavaretta (USA) holds the record for the greatest number of triple back somersaults successfully performed on the flying trapeze by any flyer, male or female, with an estimated 17,447 during an exceptional flying career that spanned 32 years, from 1963 to 1991. Terry Cavaretta, of the Flying Cavaretta (also known as Flying Terrels), is the first woman who actually caught regularly the triple back somersault on the flying trapeze (and the second woman to perform the triple somersault from trapeze to catcher). She turned her first triple at the age of 13, in 1966, at Polack Bros. Circus, to the hands of her brother Jimmy, who was 19.
