The RT-1, built by Soil Machine Dynamics Ltd (UK) for Deep Ocean (UK) is a tracked unmanned vehicle designed to dig trenches on the sea bed of 2 m deep to protect undersea pipelines. It has 2,350 kilowatts of power and has a mass of 160 metric tonnes. It measures 16 m long, 13 m wide and 7.5 m high.
