The longest vert ramp in a skatepark is located in the SMP Skatepark in north-east Shanghai, China, and measures 52 m (171 ft). The SMP Skatepark opened on 6 October 2005, and features a 2,000-m² (21,528-ft²) competition zone with seating for 5,000 spectators. It was designed by the Australian Simon Oxenham and Convic Design and built by Chengtou Construction.
