Opened on 13 July 2017, the "Mangrove" exhibit at Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, Netherlands, spans an area of 2,800 square metres (30,140 square feet) and contains approximately 1 million litres (264,000 US gallons) of fresh water. The indoor wetland hosts a variety of mangrove flora and fauna and is enclosed by a large transparent dome that measures up to 17 metres (56 feet) tall.

Inspired by the fauna of Belize in Central America, "Mangrove" is home to manatees, crabs, birds, butterflies and fish (more than 4,000 animals in total, representing around 30 species), as well as numerous plant species such as seagrape and coconut palms (around 195 species of plant in all), that call these coastal forests their home in the wild. The manatees can be seen underwater thanks to a large 12 x 1.8 m (39 x 6 ft) acrylic viewing panel. .

The average temperature in "Mangrove" is 25°C (77°F) and the humidity is maintained at around 85%.
