The 480-piece LEGO Minecraft Micro World set launched in June 2012 for £29.99 ($34.99 in the USA). A group of three Minecraft fans submitted their design for the set on the LEGO CUUSOO site, which encourages new ideas for LEGO designs. After receiving the 10,000 public votes required, LEGO began manufacturing the set. One Minecraft block is represented as one 1x1 LEGO plate with a tile on top. The set includes Minecraft character Steve and a Creeper, represented as Micro Mobs.
