Canadian gamer Kripparrian and his “wizard friend” Krippi (USA) claimed a major victory in the millions-strong Diablo III community when they achieved the first “Hardcore Inferno” completion of the game. This milestone was reached on 19 June 2012, a total of 37 days after the game’s launch. “Inferno” is the game’s highest difficulty level, while the “Hardcore” character mode means that when a character dies, the game ends and the player cannot reload his or her last save point.
