The Province of Sorsogon achieved this Guinness World Records title as part of the Kasanggayahan Festival, celebrating the 131st anniversary of the founding of Sorsogon. The nut brittle was made with pili nut sourced from all around the province and sangkaka, a local sugar candy. It was prepared by a total of 228 cooks and weighed 3,208.5 kilograms.
