Most BAFTA award wins for a platform videogame series

Sackgirl, Sackboy and the rest in the LittleBigPlanet series have won no fewer than four British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards (BAFTAs), as of September 2012. In 2009, the original won the Artistic Achievement prize, while the PSP version (Cambridge Studio/Media Molecule, 2009) took the Handheld award a year later. Finally, LittleBigPlanet 2 topped both the Family and Game Innovation categories at the 2012 ceremony. Even the Super Mario series (Nintendo, 1986–present) has managed only two BAFTAs.
