Perennial Christmas favourite “Jingle Bells”, which appears in Just Dance Kids 2 (Ubisoft, 2011), was written by James Lord Pierpont (USA) in 1857 and was originally titled “One-Horse Open Sleigh”. “Jingle Bells” is performed in the game by the Just Dance Kids, but has previously been performed by artists including Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald (all USA) and The Beatles (UK). “Jingle Bells” also became the first song played in space when, on 16 December 1965, it was broadcast during NASA’s Gemini 6A space flight.
