Most downloaded mobile videogame series

With two billion downloads as of May 2014, the Angry Birds (Rovio Entertainment, 2009) series of games in their various forms are the most downloaded of all mobile games. The series began with Angry Birds (December 2009) and also includes Angry Birds Seasons (October 2010), Angry Birds Rio (March 2011), Angry Birds Space (March 2012), Angry Birds Star Wars (November 2012), Angry Birds Friends (May 2013) and Angry Birds Star Wars II (September 2013). When Apple released its all-time best-selling iOS games in July 2013, Angry Birds was the top game in both the Paid iPhone and Paid iPad apps chart.
